Bio Sophomore year Tyler led Racine County in scoring and rushing yards. He made first team all-county, first team all-conference, conference special team’s player of the year and honorable mention all-area team. Tyler finished 22nd in state for rushing yards. Junior year Tyler helped lead the school to its first state title game. For the second consecutive year Tyler led the county in rushing and scoring. Tyler finished 6th in state in rushing yards along with first team all-county, first team all-conference, first team all-area, second team all-state. Tyler had a historic playoff run his junior year where he rushed for 1,063 yds, averaging 212 yds per contest and 15 total TD's in 5 games. Three of those games were against conference champions. After his junior year, Tyler put himself ahead of pace to break the state’s all-time rushing record his senior season. Tyler also put himself in contention to be the first state RB to exceed 7,000 rushing yards in a career along with leading the team to a conference championship. In his senior year, Tyler broke the school record for career touchdowns against Shoreland Lutheran. During the 2nd Level of the playoffs, Tyler broke the state's All-Time rushing record with a 237 yard performance against Cambridge. Also in that game he tied the school single season record for rushing TD's at 31. Tyler finished his career with 102 total TD’s ranking him 4th on the all time scoring list. Senior year Tyler made 1st team all county on both offense and defense along with being name County Player of the year, 1st team All-Conference, 1st Team All Region and Region Player of the Year, WFCA 1st Team All-State and WFCA Offensive Player of the Year
