Senior season: First Team All-State selection by the WFCA and AP and the 2010 winner of the Dave Krieg Award presented by WSN to the state's top senior quarterback.
Baretz led the Sabers to an unbeaten regular season that included an outright Southeast Conference championship and trip to the Level 4 state football playoffs. On the season Baretz completed 156 of 264 passed for a state-best 2763 yards with 34 touchdowns while rushing 120 times for 810 yards and 16 scores.
Junior season: Baretz recently received Milwaukee Journal Sentinel honorable-mention all-area, CNI Newspapers first-team all-suburban and first-team all-conference honors. He was named CNI Newspapers honorable-mention all-suburban and first-team all-Southeast Conference North Division as a sophomore in 2008.
In two seasons as the starting quarterback at Franklin High School, Baretz has completed 305 of 592 passing attempts for 4,285 yards and 41 touchdowns. He also has 280 carries for 1,614 yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground. Invited to the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio. |
